Edward Walham is a Captain in the Corps of Royal Engineers, and is currently attached to the Second Division. He has set up camp with the 60th Rifles. His main responsibilities are the survey and mapping of the region, but he can also be called upon for any engineering task within the division.

He is the heir to the Earl of Gleve and uses the courtesy title of Viscount Torrington.

His current residence in London is Belmaine House. In the country, he is most often found in Walham Court.
